Looking back - Zurück schauen

I found this dune on the island Amrum in the North Sea. It was a very windy day and I tried to do some watercolours sitting in the sand. The sand is still in my colours, but that doesn't disturb my paintings O;-)
I did this dune on a 10 x 10cm canvas, however, this picture hasn't left me alone.
I started it in acrylics in winter. Now it has found the way back on the easel. I've continued with oil. I haven't finished, yet. Nevertheless, I'm much more satisfied now.


Ich fand diese Düne auf Amrum in der Nordsee. Es war ein sehr windiger Tag und ich versuchte im Sand zu aquarellieren. Der Sand ist immer noch in meinen Farben, aber das hat die weiteren Bilder nicht gestört. O;-) Ich habe diese Düne schon einmal auf ein 10 x 10cm-Leinwändchen gemalt, das Bild hat mich jedoch nicht losgelassen.
Ich habe dieses im Winter mit Acrylfarben begonnen. Nun hat es seinen Weg zurück auf die Staffelei gefunden. Ich habe mit Öl weitergemacht. Noch bin ich nicht fertig, aber ich schon sehr viel zufriedener.
