Black Cap - Mönchsgrasmücke

It's good to be back to picture something after such a long time.

Usually, birds have a fine name in Englisch. This time I'm a bit disappointed about this one because the German expression reminds the birdlover on the cap, which are worn by monks, for these talketive chaps.

  1. Lovely pen and ink drawing of the black cap bird, we have had some visiting our bird feeders in the cherry tree recently.

  3. Is this bird singing near your place?
Nothing is as pleasant as listening to birds singing early in the morning :))

  4. Indeed, we've got a sort of park nearby and these birds are very chatty in spring. Bird singing is very important in spring, isn't it?
