Yellow Roses - Gelbe Rosen

These are the roses we've got on a table at the moment. It was nice to paint them while the German football team was shooting one goal after the other behind them on the screen. At the same time the temperatures were climbing up to 41 degrees Celsius. However, this weather is not my favourite.

Dies sind die Rosen, die wir im Moment auf einem Tisch stehen haben. Es war nett diese zu malen, während das deutsche Fußballteam ein Tor nach dem anderen schoss gleich hinter ihnen auf dem Bildschirm. Gleichzeitig kletterten die Temperaturen auf 41°C. Allerdings ist dieses Wetter nicht mein Wetter.

    I really cannot believe how tiny this painting is! It really is beautiful, you have captured the shape of the leaves and the flowers perfectly. The dark back ground makes the still life stand out so well. Well done! You paint flowers in vases so well, do you think you would like to try them on a large size canvas? I think they would really be something wonderful to see.

    I must confess I'm not a friend of flower still lives although I paint them. Strange, isn't it? O:-)
