It really is amazing Ulrike how you manage to get in so much detail in such a tiny painting. What size brushes are you using, what make and how do you keep the point on your oil painting brushes. I am using Acrylics at the moment more about that on my tree blog later. Are you still using acrylics for the under painting?

AntwortenLöschenI'm sure I still haven't the write brushes. One is a fine but cheap synthetics and for the lines I use a small sable brush, but I should get some others. If I find the time today, I'll get Louis' frame today O:-)
I hope you manage the time to get the Louis frame today. I find brushes can be a problem especially for detail work in oil, the ends of the brushes just don't last very well. Maybe it will make me paint more in the impressionist style!!
