Quince on green Marble - Quitte auf grünem Marmor

This quince has been waiting for some days in the fridge of the studio and today I had a sniff  of it. There was a very fresh and mixture of lemon and grapefruit in my nose... This piece of green marble I found in a rubbish container and I rescued it.

Diese Quitte hat schon einige Tage im Kühlschrank des Ateliers gewartet und heute habe ich an ihr geschnuppert. Da war eine frischen Mischung aus Zitrone und Grapefruit in meiner Nase... Dieses Stück grünen Marmor habe ich einem Schuttcontainer gefunden und es gerettet.

One more ink drawing full of structures that build the crumbling wall of a Scottish castle, where Oliver Cromwell had hidden the crown juwels a very long time ago...

Noch eine Tintenzeichnung voller Strukturen, die die bröckelnde Mauer der schottischen Burg bilden, wo Oliver Cromwell einmal vor langer Zeit die Kronjuwelen versteckt hatte...

Marram - Strandgras

Slowly I get used to ink. Yesterday I bought a selection of nibs and a penholder. I tried them in the evening. Now, I know that I don't like the hard ones, but the softer ones. I did ink work in the art lessons at school long ago, but now it's easier to understand what is important and what is not. In landscape it's the reduction.

Langsam gewöhne ich mich an Tinte. Gestern kaufte ich eine Auswahl von Federn und Federhaltern. Ich habe sie abends ausprobiert. Nun weiß ich, dass ich weniger die harten als die weichen Federn mag. Ich schon damals in der Schule gemacht, aber jetzt ist es leichter zu verstehen, was wichtig ist und was nicht. Bei Landschaft ist es die Reduktion.
