Two wonderful Ladies in Alkmaar - Zwei wundervolle Damen in Alkmaar

Sitting at the canal in Alkmaar I observed two nice ladies having their lunch at the Kowalski... Later I met them again and I had to show them my sketch. Very delighted they told me their first names: Mieke and Anna.

An der Gracht sitzend beobachtete ich zwei nette Damen, die im Kowalski zu Mittag aßen... Später traf ich Sie noch einmal, und ich musste ihnen meine Skizze zeigen. Ganz entzückt verrieten sie mir ihre Vornamen: Mieke und Anna.

A Place to be - Ein Platz zum Sein

As I already told you I've been to the Netherlands this summer and I've fallen in love with a little city called Alkmaar. Besides finding a lot of fine canals there I discovered the nice cafe Kowalski there with just a few people and a great atmosphere.
The only two tables outside were occupied, but the nice ladies told me just to take a chair outside to the canal when I told them I'd like to draw. They would serve me their, too. This is the nice cappuccino I enjoyed on the bank of the canal as you can see...

Wie ich schon berichtet habe, ich war diesen Sommer in Holland and ich habe mich in eine kleine Stadt namens Alkmaar verliebt. Außer den vielen hübschen Kanälen dort fand ich dort das nette Café Kowalski mit nur wenigen Leuten und einer tollen Atmosphäre.
Die einzigen beiden Tische draußen waren besetzt, aber die netten Damen rieten mir mir einen Stuhl mit nach draußen an den Kanal zu nehmen, als ich sagte, dass ich zeichnen wolle. Sie würden mich trotzdem bedienen. Dies ist der nette Cappuccino, den ich am Rand der Gracht genoss, wie ihr sehen könnt...
