Still far but home again - Noch weit weg, aber wieder zu Hause

I took a time out in the beginning of January. Now I'm back from Essaouira, Morocco, but still feel far being in the sun, bare feet in the sea, walking through the souks, taking a break here and there, smelling all the spices and seeing all the colors, especially the bright blues from the doors and the sky, the reds from the carpets and the whites from the walls...

Ich nahm mir Anfang Januar eine Auszeit. Nun bin ich zurück aus Essaouira, Marokko, aber ich komme mir immer noch weit weg vor... in der Sonne, barfüßig im Meer, durch die Souks wandelnd, hier und da eine Pause machend, die ganzen Gewürze schnuppernd und die ganzen Farben betrachtend, besonders die leuchtenden Blaus der Türen und des Himmels, die Rots der Teppiche und das Weißtöne der Mauern...

So, now you know what my favourite brands are. I always say you can't create good art with bad materials. However, you don't always have to buy the most expensive and even more important not the whole range of paints.

Any recommandations for his/her personal palettes?

Also, nun kennt ihr meine Lieblingsmarken. Ich sage immer, dass man gute Kunst nicht mit schlechtem Material machen kann. Allerdings muss man nicht unbedingt immer das teuerste kaufen und noch wichtiger: nicht die ganze Bandbreite von Farben.

Hat jemand eine Empfehlung für seine persönliche Palette?
