Ascension and Father's Day

With this old guy who I watched at a nice village called Fedderwardersiel on the northern German coast I'd like to wish all old and new fathers a good day with their families around and not too many drinks O;-)

Mit diesem alten Kerl, den ich in einem hübschen Dorf namens Fedderwardersiel an der norddeutschen Küste gesehen habe, möchte ich allen alten und neuen Vätern einen schönen Tag wünschen, zusammen mit ihren Familien und nicht zu vielen Drinks. O;-)

Demo Tubes - Demo Tuben

This is my first MDF-board. I gessoed it just once and I think it's better to do it twice. Anyway. It's a very interesting technique to start with and acrylic basis, this time in a brown tone. You already see the raw shapes and you can find out the shadows. Then I started with the watersoluble oil colours.

Nicked - Stibitzt

Though the sun is missed over here during the day, I've finished this panicle today. I started it some weeks ago and left it as reminder on my desk. So, of course these nice cherry tomatoes are already eaten, and not just the one that is nicked.

Obwohl die Sonne hier während des Tages vermisst wird, beende ich heute diese Rispe. Ich habe sie vor einigen Wochen begonnen und ließ sie als Erinnerung auf meinem Schreibtisch. Demnach sind diese hübschen Cherrytomaten natürlich inzwischen verspeist worden, und nicht nur die eine, die stibitzt worden ist.
