I had a wonderful bunch of girls who were keen on painting snow. The 6 hours of painting just flew and all of us went home with a head full of thoughts - me with a dry throat O;-)
I'd have liked to show you more than one painting, but I was just too slow to get my camera out - next time!

Ich hatte einen wundervolle Gruppe von Damen, die ganz leidenschaftlich Schnee gemalt haben. Die 6 Stunden malen vergingen wie im Fluge und alle gingen nach Hause mit dem Kopf voller Gedanken - ich mit einem trockenen Hals O;-)
 Ich hätte gern mehr als ein Gemälde gezeigt, aber ich war nur zu langsam meine Kamera herauszuholen - nächstes Mal!

Susanne is working with watersoulible oil colours. With oil colours there is always a special point in time when you should stop and I think this is the point O:-)

Susanne arbeitet mit wasserlöslichen Ölfarben. Bei Ölfarben gibt es immer einen besonderen Zeitpunkt, an dem man aufhören sollte und ich denke, das hier ist der Punkt O:-)

While reading Edgar A. Payne's famous book "Composition of outdoor Painting", this is a great challenge to find or to construct one of his composition types. Any idea what could fit?

Während ich Edgar A. Paynes berühmtes Buch "Composition of outdoor Painting" lese, ist dies hier eine große Herausforderung, eine seiner Kompositionstypen zu finden order zu konstruieren. Hat jemand eine Idee, welche passen könnte?

Because I'm quite mean with paint, I've put some of the remains on this long or broad canvas. Perhaps you've got an idea what this will become? O:-)

Weil ich ziemlich geizig mit Farbe bin, habe ich einige Reste auf diese lange oder breite Leinwand aufgebracht. Vielleicht habt ihr eine Idee, was dies werden soll? O:-)

Sun Snow - Sonnenschnee

I thought it might be nicer to have better weather in snow. So, I painted this for a sunny winter and if there's no sun shining for you in the sky, look at this painting. O:-)

Ich dachte, es wäre schöner im Schnee besseres Wetter zu haben. Deshalb habe ich dies für einen sonnigen Winter gemalt, und wenn die Sonne am Himmel nicht für euch scheint, schaut euch dies Gemäde an. O:-)
